As the successful job candidate, you will have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in athletic training.
  • Licensure or eligible to be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • National certification as an athletic trainer.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Compliance with the requirements of the Child Protective Services Law (CPSL) which includes FBI fingerprinting (in accordance with Act 114), PA Child Abuse history clearance (in accordance with Act 151), PA Criminal History clearance (in accordance with Act 34) and Certification as Mandated Reporter (in accordance with Act 126).

  • Coordinates Workers Compensation claims with insurance carrier; Completes OSHA 300 Log; Form 301 and Annual Summary;
  • Maintains FMLA records; Processes STD and LTD claims for employees;
  • Assists with processing and tracking annual reviews;
  • Assists in developing and conducting the monthly Safety Committee meetings.  Writes and update Safety Policies such as Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogen, Respirator Policy, PPE, and Forklift Policies;
  • Oversees weekly submission of time sheets.  Ensures that the Paid Time Off Spreadsheet is updated weekly.

Washington, D.C. Occupational Therapist Job (Home Care Work) Description


As a PRN (on-call) Occupational Therapist in D.C., you will be responsible for assessing, planning, administering and evaluating occupational therapy treatments to patients requiring the service in a home setting. You will also be responsible for documenting treatments, utilizing support staff and participation in special projects as designated. OT job shifts are available days and evenings.

Washington, D.C. Occupational Therapist (Home Care) Job Qualifications


Minimum Education Requirement: Must be a graduate of a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA in collaboration with the American Occupational Therapy Association or its equivalent.

Minimum Licensure Requirement: A current license with the District of Columbia Board of Occupational Therapy is required. The OT must also be registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association as well as possess a current CPR/PALS certification and NPI (National Provider Identifier) Number.
